During a day sometime last year the music from my headphones got too loud.

TP: Oh yes.
Taxi Driver: Damn how old are you?
TP: 22.
Taxi Driver: Unbelieveable.
TP: I love it.

We got along straight away and went on about 林黛，周旋，葛蘭，李香蘭，白光 and 白虹，and something good about Gold 90 FM on certain weekend afternoons.



To me,the movie made in 1937 is a masterclass of film-making in so many ways. Every dialogue,every song,every look is integral to the plot,social and human relationships.


And okay, now i know YouTube has EVERYTHING.
And Bras Basah Complex has lots of gems.
